All of our off-site catering is now being managed and delivered through our new snazzy ‘sister business’, Smolt Kitchen, located at 109 Hill Street in West Hobart. Her cheerful bistro façade is backed up by a state of the art catering kitchen, where metres of shining stainless steel and capacious cool rooms give our experienced staff the ability to respond to multiple requests for major events without impacting on those on both sides of the pass at Smolt’s Salamanca base.
Through Smolt, we have built an unmatched reputation for quality, flexibility and friendliness in both restaurant and function service and, rest assured, our new off-site catering arm retains all the criteria for excellence. Indeed, we have gained strength, agility and capacity with the establishment of Smolt Kitchen. Smolt Kitchen is also the hub for coordination of all wedding enquiries and any corporate, community and family events that are beyond the scope of the atrium at Smolt.
Catering offered through Smolt Kitchen also expands the menu style and options to include the flavours of Frank Restaurant as well soupçons and seasoning inspired by Smolt’s cuisine. Off-site venues can be public or private. As a restaurant group we frequently use unique spaces such as Mawsons Place, Salamanca Arts Centre or Avalon but are just as prepared to travel to a marquee in a private country garden.
